Just got my DVD so I thought I would knock up a short review and FAQ for the benefit of those who are a) waiting for theirs or b) swithering whether to buy.
Firstly, what region is it?

It is region 0 and so should play on any DVD.
What tracks are on it?

Essentially, it is a live performance of the Upfront album with the ommission of Everythings OK and Absent Hearts.
What are the Special Features Like.

It has the usual, audio set-up and track selection as well as choice of English or German language (presumably for the short films / bio) as well as subtitles.

Basically with the exception of the bio the other Special Features contain no reference to John Miles. The features are:

Biography - This covers John from his beginnings to the Proms including 2002. However, it does talk about Roxette who had to cancel their Proms appearances owing to illness. The piece is quite well written although doesn't add a lot to what we know. None-the-less it is a welcome addition.

Ohne Filter Shows - An A-Z listing of all the performances in the series.

Interview - a short interview with the producer of the series.

Sound Tuning - A short piece about, you guessed it Sound Tuning.

Web Link - I couldn't get this to do anything, but am happy to hear from anyone who can!
Are there any liner notes inside the case?

There are no inserts but there is a full picture of John flanked by Ollie Marland on keyboards and James Ralston on Guitar. The Ohne Filter sign is situated prominently in the middle.
So is the DVD any good?

Those of you who have seen the video will notice an improvement in both picture and sound qualty (as you might have expected). Additionally, there are no introductory or ending titles to interfere with your viewing pleasure. Also Pale Spanish Moon is not cut short so you can enjoy it in full.

If you have never seen the video then I should explain that the whole concert takes place in a small "club like" studio and so lacks a little in the way of atmosphere and audience reaction. However, this is more than made up for by the performances. "Now that the Magic Has Gone" (shortened to Magic) is brilliant as is "What Goes Around". The latter will be very welcome to those fans who had hoped to hear John play this in the recent "solo" concerts.

In short if you don't have it Buy It.
